Buff & Bodywork

See it in action!

The Buff & Bodywork is the ultimate experience in effective sports massage for athletes, golfers, yogis, tennis players, cyclists, cross fit, boot camp, and desk bound office workers.  The physical results of a Buff & Bodywork session are remarkable and must be experienced to be understood.  Clients describe the results of this highly effective transformative treatment as feeling lighter, looser, refreshed, and invigorated.

This unique hybrid modality of orbital vibration therapy with the 16lb mechanical body buffer (buff) combined with the healing power of ancient Thai yoga-based stretching using the therapists feet, knees, elbows, forearms, knuckles, palms, and fingers (thai) creates an experience that cannot be described in words.  This is likened to a professional athletic sports massage therapy treatment where the client's body are moved and stretched for optimal release and opening up access to tight and tense troubled areas.

The weight and motion of the buffer creates a vibratory and warming effect on the body, achieving quickly what cannot be accomplished by the hands alone.  Knowledgable use of the buffer relaxes, softens, and soothes tight and achy muscles and increases circulation. The buffer as quickly and effectively:

  • Greatly increases circulation
  • Breaks up restrictive fascial binding
  • Shuts down pain responses
  • Increases flexibility
  • Increases range of motion
  • Breaks down cellulite
  • Redistributed fat molecules
  • Increases muscle recovery
  • Detoxify's body via stimulation and cleansing of lymphatic system
  • Energetically balances photonic energies of body

Bodywork combines a variety of modalities such as yoga assisted stretching, athletic stretching, or trigger point therapy. Our therapists are great at intuitively finding and relieving the areas of stagnation, stiffness, discomfort and pain. Bodywork techniques and benefits include:

  • Gluteal and back walking
  • Rotation and fractioning of the legs
  • Stretching of the arms
  • Dropping of the shoulders
  • Opening of the hips
  • Releasing of tight joints
  • Restoring range of motion
  • Relieve stagnation, stiffness, discomfort, and pain
  • Rejuvenate and re-energize
  • Rebalance mind, body, and spirit
